For swelling or puffing of any body part after injury or sting.  Acts on the cellular tissues of the skin to reduce heat, tenderness and pain.  This remedy has multiple applications with horses.  Use in any condition where oedema/soft swellings occur.

For shock and concussion as well as bruising, aches, stiffness after too much exercise or over exertion, and falls or blows of any sort. Also to be used before and after surgery

For the onset of any virus, or simply to boost immune system in times of stress, whether emotional or physical.

For any sign of pus or catarrh.  For cases of extreme sensitivity, particularly to pain and cold.  If the horse is prone to infections (particularly respiratory) and/or small injuries which rapidly turn septic and become offensive.  Use for stubborn wounds that won’t heal.   Horse may display excessive thirst.

This is a Nosode (a homeopathic remedy taken from a pathological specimen).  This remedy is made from the paralysis tick for the treatment of symptoms produced by same. 

NB.  In the case of dogs or cats, if breathing is laboured, pupils dilated, animal exhibiting ‘tick cough’ or pale gum colour, change in the bark or miaow, vomiting or even slightly unsteady limbs, seek veterinary attention immediately

For any form of digestive upset – whether brought on by gorging and/or unsuitable food, or for a horse with a poor appetite and habitual constipation – frequently attempting to empty bowels, but passing only a small amount each time.

For sprains & strains, as well as pain and stiffness in joints, muscles or connective tissue.  Also applicable for restlessness or lameness after sprains in the legs.  Indications for this remedy are that the horse will be the worse for rest and better with movement – so walk off the stiffness.
